Description of Service

DriveMate is a web-based service that provides features for vehicle administration, document handling, deadline reminders, JSZP and OCR-based data extraction, and AI-assisted buyer tools.

Some features rely on third-party infrastructure and AI services, including OpenAI processing, so the availability and operation of those features may change in line with technology changes and partner terms.

Account and Acceptable Use

You need a user account to use the authenticated features of the service. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep your login credentials confidential and secure.

You are solely responsible for uploaded content, vehicle documents, and submitted data, including ensuring that you are entitled to upload and process that material.

You may not use the service for unlawful purposes, abuse, unauthorized security testing, or storing content that infringes third-party rights or applicable law.

Plans, Pricing, and Billing

DriveMate offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Plus, Pro, Max), together with one-off credit packs.

Subscription fees and credit-pack prices are displayed in the service. The displayed prices create a payment obligation once the user finalizes the order in the checkout flow.

DriveMate grants the purchased subscription or credits only after a verified successful transaction is recorded.

Online Payment and Invoicing Partners

Online card payments are processed through Barion's payment system.

Card and other payment details do not reach DriveMate; they are handled exclusively on Barion's own payment surface.

Electronic invoices for successful payments are issued through Billingo.

Credits and Tier Logic

The maximum number of active vehicles and the amount of special AI and OCR credits available depend on the selected subscription tier.

Purchased extra credit packs do not expire while the user account remains active. Credits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred to another user account.

If the account is deleted, unused credits, active subscription entitlements, and account-bound records are permanently lost and are not refundable.

Account Deletion, Cancellation, and Renewals

You can stop using the service at any time, and you can initiate account deletion yourself from the authenticated area of the app.

Cancelling a paid subscription stops the next renewal period from starting. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for a service period that has already started or for charges that have already been collected and verified.

Individual subscription-change requests may also be submitted through info@drivemate.hu.

Withdrawal Rights and Immediate Performance

The service concerns digital content and online services. By starting checkout and completing payment, DriveMate immediately starts providing the digital service and the credits.

When placing the order, the user gives the following express statement in the checkout flow: “I expressly request immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that I thereby lose my 14-day withdrawal right.”

Under Section 29(1)(m) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), this statement causes the loss of the 14-day consumer withdrawal right for immediately supplied digital content and digital services.

Liability Limits for AI and OCR Outputs

Buyer recommendations, OCR-extracted data, and AI-processed outputs generated in DriveMate are automated results and may therefore be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.

These intelligent features are assistive only. Before making important legal, technical, financial, or vehicle-purchase decisions, the user must independently verify the data from separate sources and must not rely exclusively on AI output.

Availability and Changes to the Service

The service evolves continuously, and the provider reserves the right to add, change, or remove features, integrations, and technical providers without prior notice.

The service is provided "as is", and we do not guarantee 100% availability, unlimited storage, or error-free operation in every circumstance.

Complaints and Remedies

For customer-support requests and complaints, the user can contact us at info@drivemate.hu.

To help us handle the matter faster, please include the account email address and an exact description of the issue. In a consumer dispute, you may also turn to the conciliation body competent for your place of residence or stay; the provider-side specific body can only be named once the final registered-seat data is published.

For privacy-related complaints, you may also contact the Hungarian DPA (NAIH).

Intellectual Property

The DriveMate application, its source code, branding, design, logo, operating logic, and on-site content are the exclusive intellectual property of the provider. Users may use the service only for its intended purpose, tied to their own account, and not for commercial resale.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is". We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damage, or for harm resulting from inaccuracies in AI, OCR, or other third-party-derived outputs.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Privacy

Detailed information about personal data processing is available in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. Material changes, especially changes affecting billing or pricing, will be communicated before they take effect.

Governing Law

These Terms and use of the service are governed by Hungarian law. Any dispute is subject to the competent Hungarian courts.
